The Apple trees at the Ferry Park Orchard have outgrown their enclosures, so on Saturday July 17, starting at 11am we are going to remove the existing fencing and expand the area around the 19 trees, this will allow us to be able to prune, weed and fertilize the trees much easier. We MUST HAVE 3 more Volunteers starting at noon to help us re-install the fencing. Volunteers will need to bring eye protection and gloves, those using – or around – the post driver should have hearing protection. You must be able to lift (approximately 50 Lbs) to operate a Pneumatic T-Post Driver. We will be reinstalling 75 T-Posts, so this is not easy work!
Thanks,
David Canterman
