On Saturday April 10th – rain or shine the long overdue Lummi Island Spring Roadside Clean Up will be happening.
As of today April 3rd, ALL Twenty Five available segments have been claimed by community members all over the island. Last spring it was canceled for the first time in over 50 years due to the Stay Home – Stay Safe Order. But this year our community is going to gather in small family or “COVID pod” TEAMS and clean up along pre-selected sections of all the main roadsides on the island.
Each of these segments are 1 mile or less in length. If you wish to help with the Clean Up for a particular area, please contact that Team Leader directly. Click Here to see the list of Team leaders.
