2022 Drive Through Flu Clinic: Wednesday October 12, 4PM – 7PM.
Last years drive through clinic was a huge success again with over 200 Islanders receiving vaccinations. We managed to vaccinate a record number again and we’re hoping to break that record again this year. The drive through will be across from the Fire Station on Legoe Bay Rd.
It will all be set up on the gravel pad again; with a large loop around so that we can stage multiple vehicles and hopefully keep traffic from building up on Legoe Bay Rd.
We are anticipating another increase in vaccinations again this year, so the event has been extended to three hours!
With the drive through method and increased numbers, we are implementing a few things that we hope will streamline the process:
- We will email the forms to be filled out in advance since that takes more time than the vaccination.
- Your arm will need to be accessible before you get to the vaccination point, make sure to remove jackets and long sleeves prior to arrival.
- Children will be scheduled for the latter part of the clinic since Hoagland’s prefers them to be sitting in a chair and will take a bit longer.
- The gravel area should allow about 15 vehicles to be in queue so we are asking people to register ahead of time using the following link and please arrive ON TIME:

If you cannot access a computer or need help, please ask a friend to register you or you can call the Fire Station at 360-758-2411 and we will register you over the phone.
Please remember to bring your face coverings and put them in place when you pull up for your immunization.
Assistants will be on-site to direct and control traffic flows.
