“Yes on Friday July 1st the rope drops at 4 pm…well actually we start the countdown at 3:59 and 50 seconds and all of you who are pressed against the line are freed to run out into the Church parking lot full of treasures! The sale continues on Saturday July 2nd from 9am-7pm and then everything goes to free and by donation. Free and by donation all day Sunday.
There will be a Beer/Brats stand and a Beer Garden to sit and sip your brew in comfort. And Music! Hilary and Norbie will spin the tunes.
We will have a credit card reader this year for convenience. Setting all of this up is hugely fun with emphasis on the Huge. We always have hordes of volunteers and we need every one of them. If you volunteer four hours, you will receive a voucher for $10 good for merchandise or food at the Beer/Brats stand!
Donations start at 5-9 pm on Wednesday June 29th and continue all day Thursday from 9-9. Friday morning from 9-noon is the last opportunity to donate as the sale starts at 4. Of course we can’t take anything huge and heavy or with chemicals like solvents, cosmetics…and our usual exclusions apply: sofas, sofa beds, mattresses, large appliances and electronics.
