  • Evictions
    Note: The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office is not involved in the beginning stages of the eviction process. The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office can only become involved with the eviction process after the court procedure is completed and a Whatcom County Superior Court Judge has issued a Writ of Restitution. This is the point in which the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office can serve and enforce the court order if the tenants do not comply.

    Available by appointment only and are for: Adoptions, Concealed Pistol Licenses (for Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office issued licenses only), Employment, Foster Parents, Visas, Volunteers.
  • House Checks (Vacation)
    Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office Citizens On Patrol (COPs) are available to periodically check homes that will be unoccupied for defined periods of time. Use the Link to apply for the service.
  • Process Service
    A legal procedure in the United States, which declares all parties must be notified when facing legal action against them in a court of law or an administrative court. Process service is accomplished through the delivery of a set or series of documents describing the legal action.
  • Crime Statistics for the County
    Interactive Crime Stats Dashboard provides information about various types of offenses that have occurred in Whatcom County over a specific date range
  • Sex Offender Registration
    An eMail Subscription service that will alert you when a sex offender registers with the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office and the offender’s address is within one mile of the address you have entered on your subscription.
  • Sheriff’s Sales
    Real Property (“judicial foreclosures”) and Personal Property Sales as deemed by the Courts.
