Honoring a Life of Community Service – Updated

Please help us thank Paul for his services over the many years by writing your own thank you card and put it in the LICA Drop Box across from the Post Office no later than Friday, November 3rd.

THEN, Join LICA on Saturday, November 4th at 11:00am to celebrate the official unveiling of the signs and naming of the ferry orchard park for Paul Davis. Meet by the sign at the entrance to the ferry overflow parking lot. Rain or shine we will get together to honor this man who has devoted well over 50 years of service to the Lummi Island community.

After the brief Ceremony in the Park, because of possible High Winds and typical PNW unpredictable weather, we ask you to join us at the Grange for the rest of the Ceremony.

We will have a cake, cookies, refreshments (hot coffee, tea, cider, and chocolate) for you to enjoy during the Ceremony.

Attending will be speakers from the many organizations he has worked with – and others, including perhaps fun stories about Paul. And if we are lucky, Paul might tell some of his.

If you are not already on the speakers list, contact Jesse Powell.
