Ferry Park Orchard & Trail

For over ten years, LICA has organized the mowing and trimming of the Ferry Orchard Park through an agreement with Whatcom County Public Works.

This requires 4 Volunteer crews of 2 persons each, every year. In a weekly rotation each crew gets together to do the grounds work in the park. We also need separate volunteers to weekly (even more sometimes) walk the Trail and trim back the Blackberry brush that surrounds it. If this is done often enough, it is not a hard task.
