Lummi Island Congregational Church

3913 Legoe Bay Road
PO Box 6
Lummi Island, WA 98262

No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.

The Lummi Island Congregational Church  was established in 1903, and built in 1908. We value and honor our individual spiritual paths, we respect differences in theology, celebrate diversity, and appreciate asking life’s big questions without insisting on easy answers.  The church is affiliated with the United Church of Christ.

Besides regular worship services on Sundays at 10:30 am, we support the overall health of the community through the works of the Parish Health Ministry, parish dinners for the community, our island seniors with weekly luncheons and activities for Elderberries, and Food Bank distributions to those seniors in need.  Our  Easter Egg hunt in the island cemetery and the all-island Rummage Sale are long-standing traditions.

Thanks to the generosity of members and the island community, the construction of The Gathering Place  is underway as an additional facility on our site.  It will meet current building codes and offer the island additional opportunities to connect, celebrate, and serve.  Also, all are welcome to access the church beach.  Please use with care.

Called and LM to Rhayma to get her help to flesh out the page more. They will work on it.
Rhayma sent text, slight conflict on Built Date 1908 with Peggy’s history 1909. Jane Phillips (Church historian) to assist with resolving.
Spoke with Rhayma about http:// vs https:// issue. We are trying to figure out who is actual Admin of their Church Website and what the Hosting company is.
