You're invited to experience one island family's inspiring commitment to conservation. Scott and Debbi Josiah will welcome guests to their beautiful 5-acre Personal Preserve for a guided walk through a remarkable landscape featuring ponds, wooded wetlands, a sedge marsh, pasture, and Douglas fir forest.
Learn how they are "rewilding" their property with native plants to support pollinators, birds, and other wildlife while building resilience to climate change. After the walk, enjoy light refreshments in their east-facing garden, alive with bees and butterflies.
Space is limited, and advance registration is required. Come be inspired by practical ways to create habitat and enhance biodiversity, right here on Lummi Island.
