Ferry Back Parking Lot Temporary Closure

Whatcom County Public Works has scheduled a necessary spring cleaning of the Lummi Island Ferry back parking lot on April 9-10. This maintenance activity requires the lot to be empty, so no parking is available during this time. Additionally, any existing vehicles must be removed prior to Wednesday, April 8, or be subject to towing.
Timeline of closure:
- Reminder signs are posted as of Thursday, April 2
- Remove all vehicles by the end of the day on Tuesday, April 7
- Any remaining cars will be towed on the morning of Wednesday, April 8
- The parking lot will reopen on Saturday, April 11.
Our crews will cut and clear overgrown vegetation and sweep the lot. Again, please remove any vehicles in advance of this temporary closure, or they will be subject to towing. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
