What About Climate Change?

Join us for a deep dive into what we know and don’t know about climate change as we explore the book   Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case For Hope And Healing In A Divided World  by Katharine Hayhoe.  James Addington and Cheryl Hood will be leading a discussion of the book on Tuesdays beginning September 27 through October 25, 7:00-8:15pm at the church.

The author is a climate scientist on the faculty of Texas Tech University, the chief scientist for the Nature Conservancy, and is the climate ambassador for the World Evangelical Alliance. She is a recognized expert on the realities of climate change and a committed Christian. Her book is very direct regarding what we know and don’t know about our changing global climate, a “multilayered look at science, faith, and human psychology, from an icon in her field.”

At this time, copies of the book are not available at the library, but can be ordered at Village Books or Amazon.  And please, let us know you are coming here.
