The winter storm coming on Friday, Sept. 17, is expected to cause high winds that could cause ferry service suspensions or delays. Please be patient if this happens.
The long range camera is set on Hale Passage during dry dock, so you should hopefully be able to see the storm / wave conditions.
Also, if the storm does not cause a tide problem, lower than normal tides for this time of the year are causing steep inclines on the ferry’s passenger ramp during morning runs. Anyone who must travel during this time use extreme caution when using the ramps. These low tides will continue through the end of this week, Saturday, Sept. 18.
