Celebrate Local Art and Flavors!
The Gathering Place is delighted to once again be part of the Fall Artist Tour, welcoming the community to explore, connect, and celebrate creativity on Saturday and Sunday, November 8-9 from 10:00am-5:00pm.
This fall, seven talented island and regional artists will fill The Gathering Place with color and imagination — featuring painting, jewelry, textiles, ceramics, photography, and handcrafted gifts. Visitors are invited to browse, meet the artists, and take home a special piece of local art.
Artists showing at The Gathering Place this Fall are Barbara Boulanger, Marlena Dougherty, Sharon Grainger, Ed Lowe, Gayle Mitterer, Rachel Smersh, and Nancy Uding.
While you’re here, enjoy a $10 homemade box lunch, freshly prepared by Lummi Island residents. This event, each lunch includes hearty soup and a slice of house-baked sourdough focaccia bread — a comforting and delicious way to refuel between studio stops.
Seating will be available inside for those who’d like to linger and share conversation, or you can take your meal to go and enjoy it by the beach.
The Gathering Place is proud to host this event as part of the island-wide celebration of art and community. Come support local makers, enjoy a warm homemade meal, and make a day of it on Lummi Island!
